With the growth of the Middle Eastern population in our country the number of Restaurants has mushroomed. There are many advantages to preparing these types of foods, most important, they are very healthy and easy to prepare and most of all are delicious. Keep in mind Middle Eastern Food has been around for thousands of years. There must be a good reason that this food has lasted for so long. This food is based on ingredients like olive oil,fresh vegetables and exotic spices. This food is not only nasty, but has a great deal of nutritional value. First, you want to use the freshest and best ingredients available. That is what adds to make the taste so great. The lack of storage methods in the Middle East is what forced this culture to create such tasty dishes using fresh food each day.
Secondly, years of experience is not necessary to be a good Middle Eastern cook. Preparing the food is quite simple. It is just a matter of using the correct food and just the right amount of spices to make these wonderful dishes.
Third, there are various types of this type of foods that you can prepare. One of the most basic and popular dishes is humus dip or a simple Israeli vegetable salad. Both of these dishes go well with the infamous Middle Eastern Pita bread that has become so popular in our own country.
Lastly, Middle Eastern food is not about a country it is about a region. The truly great thing about it is you can see both Israelis and Arabs eating the same food.
